I wanted to write books that would speak to our children's hearts and remind them that even though they are young, Jesus is reaching out to them. We know we also have an enemy who is trying to reach out to our children, so to fill their minds with the truth of God's word is our only hope we have when they are faced with him in real life. I love the bible stories about Noah and the ark, David and Goliath, Joshua and the walls of Jericho. But I think a better story is when our own children tell us what God is doing in their lives.
